CHRISTIANS MUST PUT A STOP TO THEIR OWN CANCEL CULTURE

A vast majority of Christians need to wake up before it’s too late. Don’t jump to conclusions, the reason I’m writing this Blog may not be why you think. The Bible has warned us, I just pray that it’s not too late. From the beginning the Bible has forewarned us that Satan was going to distract and deceive us. Well, the past two years Christians have never been more distracted, deceived, and divided. A vast majority of Christians have lost focus and because of that, a more serious plague has contaminated the body.

Proverbs 18:10 says: The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. With so much division amongst the Body, where and who do we run to? I ask this because ALL who received Jesus are supposed to be strong towers for each other. Just because we call ourselves righteous doesn’t mean we’re always right. We need to get right with God, really fast, before it’s too late! The best way to do this is to ask and allow Jesus to examine and adjust us.

We are all a work in progress. Can you imagine traveling down a road that you frequently travel, that’s never or hardly been attended too for repair work? The initial thought of it sounds amazing, no traffic, no construction up ahead. But the reality is, especially if it’s a busy road, that corrosion will begin to deteriorate beneath the surface. There’s nothing worse than experiencing a sinkhole when the floor drops out beneath you without warning.

THE REAL PROBLEM MAY JUST BE US

We’ve gotten so consumed with current events these days that it’s hard to focus on ourselves. Between politics and the news our lives have been consumed more now than ever before. Some of us have missed the expedient mobilization of the Principalities of Darkness throughout our communities. Satan’s fast and furious hostile takeover is destroying city after city across this great nation. Satan has pulled off the greatest sleight of hand this world has ever seen.

Satan’s distractions have caused many Christians to look here, there, and everywhere. While they were looking, Satan was taking. Taking countless precious souls that were not only committing suicide but victims of heinous crimes. I just pray that many of these lives that were lost called out to Jesus before taking their final breath. Who’s to blame and who are we going to point fingers at?

What is it going to take for those that are called By God to straighten up? We must stop playing church and start being the church. We must stop playing catch up and start being the forerunners of society. Just the harsh painful thought that we may have lost more precious souls to Hell in the past two years should awaken us. I know that some don’t care to admit that because Hell is so harsh, but a reality, nonetheless. We’re distracted and consumed by everyone else but ourselves.

DARKNESS AND DECEPTION IS ALL AROUND US

What do you see and feel when you hear these words; Conservatives, Liberals, Democrats, Republicans, Patriot, Politics, Cancel Culture, Black Lives Matter, Social Equality, Critical Race Theory, Gender Bending, Pro Life, Pro Choice, Planned Parenthood, LGBTQIA2S, and many others that I haven’t mentioned? Do you have an opinion or a feeling? Do you feel passionate about one or angry about another?

B.C. for me (before Christ) I definitely lost myself when it came to a policy or a position. I was like many of those that don’t know Christ, didn’t understand that our time here on Earth is temporary. I didn’t understand the time that I had been given was just a dress rehearsal for a time called eternity. So, I saw what the world sees, I felt what the world feels. I’m not saying that I’m special or above anyone, I’m just saying that I am no longer the person I used to be.

When Jesus saved, delivered, and set me free, I was no longer of the world. Even though I am no longer of the world, I so desire to be in the world every single day. So, what do I see and feel when I think of all the groups and agendas I described? I see souls, I see mission fields, I see the lost amongst every one of these groups. I see children of God that have not yet been reconciled.

What amazes me more than anything is how these groups, from all separate entities can and will assemble at any given time. Many of these organizations have come against the Christian community because they say that we are “force feeding them”. So many Christians have been accused of being judgmental and accusers. Christians have been accused of being a hate group because of the way we treat people when we don’t agree with them.

BECOME ALL THINGS TO ALL MEN AND WOMEN

You may judge me because an assumption could be made that I’m turning a blind eye to the problems. I can tell you from my own experiences that I personally was not easily reached when I didn’t know better. I can also tell you that if the two men that pursued me only saw my exterior, I’d be dammed to Hell as well. Before I got saved, I knew nothing about how to live a Godly life because the world consumed me.

The problem is that people try to adjust the Word of God fit their lifestyle instead of adjusting their lifestyle to fit the Word of God. Politics and policies are created to destroy and divide Gods creation. So long as we focus on the surface, we will never get to the root of anything. Change happens from within, take it from me, the exterior is just a coverup. The offense from these groups and agendas come when they are challenged to live according to Gods Word.

Apostle Paul said it best in 1 Corinthians about Serving All Men. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 New King James Version ¹⁹ For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; ²⁰ and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; ²¹ to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; ²² to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. ²³ Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

I’m not turning a blind eye to any of the agendas that any group puts out in a quest to destroy Gods creation. God made all His children perfectly in His own image and likeness, fearfully and wonderfully made. What God makes perfect; Satan tries to destroy. All people have not yet tasted and seen the goodness of God. In some cases, we have poured the salt on society’s wound instead of bringing mass healing to society.

Matthew 5:13-16 New King James Version Believers Are Salt and Light ¹³ “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. ¹⁴ “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

INSTEAD OF BEING THE HEAD, WE’RE NOW CHASING OUR TAILS

How can it be that we supposedly follow one man, Jesus, yet we’re so divided? Where did we miss it? Why do we refuse to come together? Why do we refuse to be one with each other? Because then we would need to die to ourselves and to our programs. When we die to ourselves that simply means that we willfully agree to give up control.

There have been many denominations created that have separated Christians and Churches for centuries. But I have never seen such a public, blatant, all-out attack on one other. We are supposed to be in the world, not of the world. We are supposed to be set apart not separated from. The harsh reality is that we absolutely dropped the preverbal ball. We’ve been screaming at the mountains to move instead of getting on the mountains of life and taking them for the Kingdom of God.

Satan only comes to steal, kill, and destroy and dividing us has always been the initial wedge to drive us further apart. We need to influence every area of society together. We need to be the head and not the tail. We need to remain ultra-focused; we need to expose the magician before he pulls off his trick. So, the next time Satan says, “Look over here and focus on these things while I destroy and divide you who say you are one in Christ”. Then we are aware and allow Satan to think we’re distracted, meanwhile we are ten steps ahead of him.

DON’T BE FOOLED OR WOOED

When anyone in ministry leads someone to Jesus, we’re fast to lead them in a sinner’s prayer. We’re quick to tell them about getting their house in order. However, we don’t invite anyone in to see that our own house is in compete disarray. Here’s something I’ve been told on a few occasions by people that wanted me to believe that they were right with God. I was told that I should follow them as they followed Christ, I’m just glad that as I look back that Jesus’s voice was louder than theirs.

The best advice I can give anyone is don’t be so gullible. We all want to fit somewhere, we all desire to be seen and heard. God will give you wisdom and discernment, a truly amazing combination. When you are challenged by someone’s words or demands, seek first the voice of the Lord. Make sure that in everything you do that you’re first doing unto the Lord Jesus Christ.

Never compromise Biblical principles and never let anyone devalue you at any cost. When you kneel before God on your day of judgement, everything will be brought to the table. Instant replay may have been a feature in the field of technology here on earth for decades. But instant replay has been around since before the world was put into existence by God. Everyone will take account for everything that they’ve done to either grow you or to try and bury you.

Live this life fully aware that godlessness will try and consume you. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 New King James Version (Perilous Times and Perilous Men). ¹But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: ² For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³ unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, ⁴ traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
